Just wondering if dynon is aware of issues with repetitive warnings that recur after acknowledgement by the user.
This has happened with multiple non critical alerts for me in the past.
The latest was both hdx displays notifying me every minute that it was time to do a back up battery test. I took a family member up for a two hour flight and the "warning" coming over the headset every minute from each display was more than annoying, and understandably made them nervous.
I had to land so that I could safely go through the setup screens and turn off alerts.
Can your software engineers go through the code for this and perhaps make alerts that are not immediately flight critical perhaps only go off once per power on of the display. And if the pilot acknowledges the warning, make it not continuously rewarn them?
Did the hdx want me to perform the battery backup test while I was flying the airplane?
Stuff like this is dangerous and can distract the pilot from flying the airplane.
