AOA and EMS audio output without intercom

Hi,
I have read a few post about audio outputs, but none of them are bringing an acceptable solution to me. We cannot connect the D180 output to the intercom because it is a retrofit and it is not physically feasible (too tight). [smiley=cry.gif]
To me the audio is essential for AOA monitoring when the pattern is crowdy.
Is there a clever way to use an external buzzer excited with the D 180 audio output signals ? if someone has been facing this problem, what buzzer did you use or would you recommend, and what kind of device did you use to "feed" the buzzer ?
That would be very helpful to me

Does your intercom not support a "music" input?

Multiple sources can be connected to that input using appropriate resistors to prevent back-feed. Don't have the link at work, but there is a company that sells an "audio-panel in a DSub connector" product for managing multiple mono inputs.

Good evening,
The problem comes from the fact that the Dynon is retrofit and no access to the intercom is possible. I was thinking of an external audio sound such as a buzzer. But I do not have a clue on the characteristics the buzzer must have. If some one has done before, that would be very helpful :)
Yours truly

The audio output is a high impedance output that can't drive a buzzer directly. It's possible to build a circuit that would do what you wanted, but we've never heard of anyone doing it. Your best shot may just be a very loud amplified speaker hooked right to the audio output line.

No, PhantomPholly, I have never heard of SawsAll. Could you explain or direct me to a website that explains ? That would be very kind of you

Can't tell if your response was a joke as mine was - in case it wasn't, a SawsAll is a weapon of mass destruction for home remodeling.  They are generally intended for quickly removing joists, etc.  It would be more suitable for turning your aircraft into scrap than for carefully accessing your intercom.

It would certainly let you access the back of your intercom, but the airplane might not ever fly again...

Not to me !  ;) I love accurate tinkering and I am not attracted any more by massive destruction weapons. There is a time for everything in the life. I am still thinking   and will post an answer if I find a solution. Could be helpful for other folks.

Ok, kidding aside why do you think it is "impossible" to remove / reach the intercom? Did they epoxy it in?

It is because the intercom is in such a remote area that unless having very long and thin fingers (not human), you cannot reach its connections without braking them and it cannot be removed from the cockpit side. It has been installed during the assembly of the aircraft. And unless removing the whole instrument panel which in 3 parts, we have not been able to figure out a way of reaching the back side of the box.
Is it understandable ? when you assemble a plane, it is impossible to think ahead for every little detail !
