AP 74 - EKP-V

Hi, is it possible to connect AP-74 to EKP-V?

In the EKP-V I have TX-RX-GND but in the electrical scheme AP-74 I do not see these connections.

The AP74 does not have a serial interface. However, the EFIS that it is connected to does, and can be connected.

thanks for your answer .So if the Ekp V has the Efis module can I connect it? What would rx tx gnd cables?

The Ekp-V which EFIS inthe Sam EKP needs this communications

EKP can send the following NMEA sentences:

RMC
RMB
GGA
APA
APB
XTE

at these baudrates:

4800
9600
14400
19200
38400

Autopilot must be able to receive NMEA0183 standard sentence message to comunicate with EKP.

In the Docking Station, that has the possibility to connect the autopilot to one of the 2 serial ports using the free wires ( RX, TX and GND ).
Docking Station is the panel that allow to the user o mount the EKP fixed on the panel.Rmember that EKP V is not driving the servos, but only sending the GPS and course data to the autopilot. The autopilot is driving the servos. EKP V autopilot interface is 2 axis, not 3 axis, meaning that the EKP V does not command altitude.
