I am installing the auto pilot control panel in an RV as a retrofit. Decided to use the trim system which is included to replace the Ray Allen relays, speed controller and the position indicator (indicator quit working years ago). What I need to know is does anybody know which wire from the Ray Allen trim motor is the position potentiometer? The installation manual says to hook that wire to an Aux input on the Dynon 1000 but I can't figure out which wire that is. There is a Blue, an Orange and a Green. The Company says the Blue and Orange are Gnd and Power and the Green is the signal but they couldn't say how the 1000 can derive position from the signal wire unless it is sensing the voltage to the motor which is through the Dynon. I may have figured it out but would like to hear from someone who may have done this already.
