I have SV-32 servos in hand, but now I notice that the full stop to stop throw on the Waiex aileron pushrod is 4 1/8 inch, way longer than even the long arm excursion on the servos. Pitch seem OK, but roll is a problem.

Has anyone done a Sonex or Waiex installation? I've thought of using the stronger servos and introducing an intermediate lever arm to increase the throw, but I'd like to avoid that complication if possible.

One of our employees has a Sonex with the AP - I'll see what he says.

He used an SV42 and built a 3" servo arm to get the throw. For brackets, he used stock RV7 (he thinks). I'll send a few pics to the email you have on file with this account.

Hi!

I am a Sonex builder / Skyview system owner as well and would like to install an autopilot system. Was hoping that these pictures could be emailed to me as well.

Thanks!
