Dynon,

Once the VOR/LOC/GS and GPSS/GPSV modes are released/enabled, how will selecting these modes work since you do not have dedicated buttons for these different NAV modes?

Will whatever datasource selected for the main CDI on the HSI be what is coupled to the AP when NAV or VNAV is enabled on the AP?

In other words how will you tell the AP which source to take its commands from when you press NAV or VNAV if you have a VOR/LOC/GS receiver, GPS connected via serial and another GPS connected over ARINC all connected to the HS34 at the same time?

Which will come first on your releases:  ARINC VOR/LOC/GS tracking, RS232 VOR/LOC/GS tracking with the SL30 or ARINC GPSS/GPSV knowing the vertical modes won't be out until the AP76 is released?

We will fly GPSS if you are flying a GPS and it's outputting steering.

Same with GPSV.

Just like today, the HSI controls the source. The AP flies whatever is on the HSI when you choose NAV or VNAV.

VOR/LOC will come first, over ARINC or RS-232. Full GPSS will probably come at the same time. All vertical modes will come with the AP76.
