AP vs Trim

Simple question here...  I have installed a roll servo in my RV-9 wing and plan for one to address pitch when I progress on my build. I will be installing the Skyview system. I am about to close up the wing but thought I'd better ask about the relationship between AP and trim. With the Dynon servos coupled to a Skyview system, will I need to install an independent trim function? Or will the SV plus Autopilot  servos handle trim for me?  Thanks in advance for any replies.

The Dynon autopilot servos do not trim your aircraft, you still need trim. If you have electric trim, the optional SV-AP-PANEL has a trim controller that can run those trim motors for you to keep the plane in trim. So to be perfectly clear, you'd need Dynon autopilot servos + 3rd party trim servos (typically Ray Allen) + SV-AP-PANEL to have autotrim.
