I have a trutrak Vision 385 autopilot and a GTN-650 working through the Skyview system. According to Garmin the GTN-650 can not output both the ARINC 429 signal for the Skyview at the same time it outputs the different signal the Trutrak A/P needs. They said this is not just in the Garmin product, but a technical impossibility in general.
The outputs are
Sky view - GAMA 2, HIGH speed
TruTrak - GAMA 1, LOW speed
I am aware of the Skyview's ability to run the Vision 385 autopilot, but the autopilot loses the ability to track the GPS glideslope.
I would love to see some kind of an update to the Skyview (or the Trutrak A/P) to restore the ability to couple to the glideslope.
