Attitude indicator & skid ball

I have 70 hours on a RV-12 equipped with the D100. The flight before last I noticed that the skid ball was to the right of center, which I thought was strange. The last flight the ball was pegged to the right and the turn and bank showed a 45 degree left turn during level coordinated flight. What is happening?
