Audio output

I have a ap and a hs34,sl30 and a garmin240 audio panel. The aural tones are wired to the audio panel on the aux switch . I can't get any tones in the headset. I think I don't have the proper setup. The rheastat is set in the middle and the autopilot tone use to work but I changed the hs 34 settings but can't figure out how to change it back.

So first, make sure you're using the audio output from the HS34. Next, make sure you have SETUP>HSI>AUDIO ALERTS set to EXT VOICE or EXT TONE per your preference to ensure that the HS34 is set to output tones. Beyond that, check wiring continuity.
