Auto pilot disengaged after 3 hours in smooth air

This last Sunday after a 6.5 hour cross country flight, 3 hour leg, I was about 15 minutes from home and heard "Autopilot will Disengage". The Air was smooth and the auto pilot was tracking nicely. On the Upper Left Hand corner of the Skyview classic I had a White Box with an X through it. I do have a power disconnect circuit breaker so I cycled it, the white box with an X turned red like I have seen before when I shut off the power to the servo and went away when I switched the power back on. I was able to get the auto pilot to start working again. Is this anything to look further into or was it just a glitch after having the auto pilot running for 3 hours.

I had a similar auto pilot disconnect. Flying for about 45 minutes at 7500 feet in smooth air and the auto pilot disconnected. I waited about 30 seconds reengaged auto pilot and it worked fine for the remainder of the flight proximately another 45 minutes. It is a dual HDX screen system with software 16.4 in an RV 14A.
