when Starting up the aircraft I notice that I don’t have the autopilot button on the skyview panel. AP button on autopilot panel is inop As well. I check the system status and, it shows that the autopilot panel and servos are installed and good to go. Servos pass calibration. If I shut down aircraft and remove autopilot panel reinstall D sub plugs and, install in panel everything works again. It’s only on starting the aircraft that this happens. Autopilot works great in flight and, has not failed or shut down. Dynon sent a replacement autopilot panel and, it had no impact on the problem.

I was told to always leave the Autopilot switched ON before start. This works for me.
