Several times now, usually when I am working behind the panel with the maze of wires, my D-180 turns on all by itself with no action on my part. It is then running on its internal battery since the main master switch is off. The usual "system will turn off in 30 seconds" does not appear at the bottom of the screen.
Something is triggering this action and I need to find some clues on what to look for.
thanks, Dynon exoerts…. :-?

That's a little bit mysterious - I can't say I remember hearing other reports along these lines. If you were getting any power intermittently on pins 1 or 15, which can both provide primary power to the instrument, that would do it. Something up with the ground lines or possibly the pin 2 keep alive wire (which shouldn't generally be connected) could possibly cause issues.
