I currently have the full HDX suite installed in our 62‘ 210B. The autopilot isnt certified in the 210 yet so looking for autopilots that will integrate into the HDX. I dont want any Garmin in our aircraft and was looking into the Gensys S-TEC 3100 but say its not compatible with HDX. Any additional recommendations?

What are you using for an IFR navigator? Assuming you have one, you could probably connect an autopilot to that. If that navigator is also integrated with the HDX, the flight plan you put in the navigator should show up in the HDX. No Garmin, means Avidyne?

Hmmm... I may be wrong. It looks like the 3100 doesn't have it's own gyros. It depends on attitude and air data (airspeed, vertical speed, altitude, etc) from an EFIS or an HSI and it probably hasn't been STC'd with Dynon. If your avionics shop says they can't install it, it might be the STC they have or they just don't want to. Who did your Dynon installation?
