Autopilot level button

You do not need to be in expert mode, nor have the AP engaged to use the level button. Press it any time the plane is in flight and it will level you out.

Having difficulties with the installation of the Dynon level button.
12 volt power for the light completed and operational with the white wire of the button connected to pin 26 of the D1000.
The org/black wire of the button is connected to pin 28 of the D1000 display however pressing the button gives no response. I have repeatedly checked the installation and there is continuity from pin-to-pin on the org/blk wire.
Any thoughts? How do I ohm out the switch to verify it is working properly? Any settings in skyview affect the operation? Thanks,

When you press the button, you should see the orange/black wire and black ground wire be electrically connected. Essentially, the button is a momentary short to ground.
