I sometimes get an "Autopilot Load" alert, I think usually just after activating the AP. The alert is usually enunciated once or twice then stops. Does not seem related to "Trim Up/Down" alerts. What is this alert trying to tell me? (RV-12 w/ pitch & roll servos, latest SV version).

Is this alert audible or on-screen?

If audible, you may be hearing "Autopilot Mode", explained (as are all Messages, Alerts, and Audio Alert Details) in the SkyView Pilot's User Guide:

The autopilot roll mode has changed since it was engaged. This includes sequencing onto an armed mode > VNAV sequence.

Hmmm, good question. It was an audio only alert so I must have misunderstood it. I had searched the manual for "Autopilot Load" and, of course, couldn't find it. I see the "Autopilot Mode" alert and the explanation there makes sense based on what I remember happening. I'll check that out next time I'm out.

Thanks for the response ...
