Autopilot servo harness

Excuse me if this has been covered, but I have found no mention of this.
The install manual (Skyview) has only the twisted pairs going through the db9 connector and the power and disconnect wires being spliced separately.  Is there a reason to not have the power and disconnect wires running through the available pins in the db9?

You can route them through the D9 at the servo end if you want, but you CAN NOT route those wires to the rest of the SkyView network (ie power). They need to go to ship's power and the disconnect switch.
