Attached is a picture of my Network Status page. I am getting a Backup Network Error under the warnings menu. This is a Van's RV12 with Skyview.
I am not sure how to tell where to begin trouble shooting the issue. Is the Serial # the designation of where the problem is?

Basically, that means that those wires (that go to pins 4/8 on the D9 connector) are likely not connected or run to your AP servos.

Is this an upgrade from a D100-based system by any chance? There are two pairs of SkyView Network wires that need to be connected. The D10/D100 series only had one pair. So when upgrading, if the system wasn't "pre-wired" with the additional two wires, you'd need to add them. I don't recall the details of Vans' previous wiring, but even back then we knew that we'd one day use both sets, so I'm surprised to see them not connected.

Thanks,
It is one of the conversion harnesses. Is it possible that the wires provided with that harness could be reversed causing this issue?

I can't speak to its exact construction off the top of my head, but I'd probably start by tracing all of the wires to see if there's a discontinuity there.

Actually, it looks like Van's has a service bulletin for their wiring harness / box interface. Check out
