The new system looks GReaT!  But is there a name or model number for this Next Generation EFIS Technology?  NGET just doesn't seem to fit, IMHO.

Now to the real question.  Will the NGET use the same sensors as today's EMS?  That will have a significant impact on the effort required to upgrade from the D120.

There's not a model name or a price yet.

The current EMS harness and sensors will plug right in.

We will have weather at some point, but we can't promise compatibility with a specific device yet.

Great!

Where will the pitot/static lines connect? If to the sceen box this will be easy but if they must go to the AHRS box then this could make finding suitable place to mount the AHRS with access to the P & S lines difficult. Do you have dimensions for the AHRS yet?

Thanks!

ARGHHHH!! Bummer, you made it a different size than the current line. Why would you do that?

i'd upgrade asap but not if it means chopping up my new panel. Bummer.

Ken,
The pitot/static lines will go to the ADAHRS box. It's not much bigger than the current EDC.

The screen box is bigger because we added knobs, and made the mounting much simpler. It was not possible to maintain the same cutout and also add two sophisticated knob/joystick units.

Oh thats a piece of cake then if it is only the size of the EDC - I have the perfect spot all picked out...

I'm assuming it will need to be oriented precisley in relation to aircraft axis?
