Hi, I'm in the UK and I've just started using my D100 in my new build which has a clear bubble canopy. In bright light I find the display is a bit washed out. I know there is a brightness upgrade available but this involves returning the unit to the States with associated expense and downtime. I find the unit very usable even in the bright light except for the balance ball central position marks. Being two thin black lines they do not show up very well whilst the white ball itself is clear. However a balance ball is not much use if you can't see at a glance if it is centred. If the central position marks were white lines I think they would be much more obvious. Am I alone in thinking this? I'm sure it would be simple to change the line colour with a software upgrade.
