Do all of the EMS monitors ( specifically the EMSD10 ) have the capability of the internal battery backup that runs the instrument in the event of main battery or alternator failure?
or perhaps due to low voltage on engine start?
Thanks,
Ken

The EMS units do not accept internal batteries. They will stay on down to about 6V though, so rebooting when cranking is rare. On top of that, they reboot in about 4 seconds, so you don't wait long to see oil pressure.

The D180 is the only EMS that can be backed up internally with a battery.
