Good Evening,

I have a D10A, s/n 004877 and I'm having difficulty installing the backup battery. I can connect the black/red pig tail on the battery to the yellow/black pigtail inside the D10A, but there isn't enough clearance between the top/back of the battery and the cover to close the unit. The battery pack in question is from Progressive Technologies (16.8v/2200mAh, MOLI, 1006)

Any tips/tricks?

Thanks in advance.

It can be tight, indeed - but here are a couple of tips from our production staff:

-Make sure you install the battery with the bumpy side up - towards the foam.
-Try orienting the connector so the flat side faces the door.
-Since it can be tight, realize that the door may not be as perfectly flush as it was before the battery was installed.
