Bech Power Up

Is there any issues with powering up the D180 with only the power and ground pins connected ? I would like to power the unit on the bench without the other 25 and 37 pin connectors.

It is fine to give it power like this. If you ordered the battery, you can just hold down button #1 to turn it on, no external power needed.
