G'day,

Finally received serial to parallel converter. I need to replace unreliable A-30 encoder.
Idea is to plug D10A via serial/parallel link directly into existing (encoder/transponder) wiring.
Would you be able to help me with wiring diagram (for KT76A).

Best Regards

Nenad

Hi Nened,

The pinout for the encoder converter module is available in the appendices of the EFIS-D10A and EFIS-D100 installation manuals.

The best source for the KT76A pin out is going to be an installation manual or wiring schematic for the product you have. Since it is a fairly common transponder, asking your local A&P might produce some good results. The Bendix/King website requires a dealer account to view the installation manual, so no joy there.

That said, a quick google search produced the following post from the RV list:

http://www.matronics.com/digest/zenith-list/Digest.Zenith-List.2003-01-22.html

We don't vouch for the accuracy of this data and I wouldn't consider it authoritative. I'd double check it against at least another source, but at least it is a starting point.
