Currently have 80 gallons (74 useable) with CIE floats gauged on the HDX displays. After topping off, hit the 'full' button and everything works fine. NOW - adding tip tanks (another 40 gallons) that have floats and an independent gauge. How does everyone with this configuration set up the HDX capacity & gauging arrangement? Just manually add 40 gallons mid-flight if the tips are full? Can it be set for two different 'full' configurations?

Yes, you can. I have 4 tanks on my RV, and have 4 gauges for left, right, left outboard and right outboard. When fueling up I have a "Preset" button and a "Full" button. My Preset is set for 36 gallons (inboards only) while the Full button is set for 67 (inboards and outboards). If you only take a partial load in the outboards then hit the preset to establish full inboards, and then turn the dial to add however many gallons you put in the outboards. Works like a charm.

Thank You! I missed the 'preset' line in the setup menu! Works as promised!
