Boom mic and external speaker with Dynon Radio

The Phoenix motorglider crew would like to have a boom mic and external speaker for engine off soaring flight without headsets on. The Becker 6201 offers this but the Dynon does not. How about it Dynon? Other than that, we feel that the Dynon radio is awesome.

As I understand it, the Becker 6201 has an amplified signal to work with an external speaker. If you could steer us to a solution that takes the Dynon radio signal and amplifies it for use in a speaker, we would appreciate it!

While we have never tried it ourselves, a simple, inexpensive amplifier like this one from Amazon should work well:

You'd need to cut the 1/8 jack off and wire it to the headset out from the radio.
