I have a friend that does not have access to the internet so I am posting for him.  He has installed a D10A and everything is working well except for one thing.  When doing the magnetic calibration, he is seeing the message,  " Error - Not enough data for turn " after the indication " Calculating Magnetic Calibrating ".

Note these messages may not be verbatim as there is Romanian to English translation involved here. :)

It sounds like he is trying to do the magnetic calibration for an EFIS-D10A that does not have the remote compass installed. Is this correct?

If so, this calibration procedure involves doing a 540 degree turn on the ground, followed by two 540 degree turns in the air. Make sure that these turns are being performed per the instructions in the installation manual.

I have verified that he does not have the remote compass option. He says he is performing the turns when he gets this error message.
