Mr. Dynon,

Can I use the single blue "data out" wire from my GPS396 to drive both my D10A and my TruTrack DFC250?

If so, does it matter whether the D10A and Trutrack are connected in parallel or series from the GPS396?

Thank You,
Ben

Yes, and parallel is the only way that they can be connected (serial is impossible anyway since neither of the products rebroadcast the GPS data)

Just split the Output wire from the x96 and connect separate leads to the EFIS and AP. Make sure that the output speed is set to LOW for the AP; the EFIS doesn't care. TT Wiki has AP wiring instructions as does the installation manual.

Oh, and make sure you run the black ground wire to your Avionics ground point along with the EFIS and AP grounds. Serial requires both the "hot lead" and the shared ground to operate (e.g. it won't work if running the x96 off of battery and ONLY the blue wire is connected).
