Can the AP74 be used alone?

I have searched the forum and the website and I can't seem to find my answer. Can the AP74 be used as a two axis auto pilot with an EFIS? I have a Rans S7S and only want to add an A/P. Thanks!

No, all the autopilot software is in the D10A, D100, or D180. The AP74 is only a user interface and has no sensors inside. The AP74 is NOT required to use the autopilot, you can use just the D10/D100/D180.

You can get a D10A and two servos for ~$3800, and that comes with a "free" EFIS so it's still cheaper than buying a standalone AP from most other companies.
