Can We Get Rid of the Red X

The red X that is on the top of the screen, when using an Icom A210 connected serial to the Skyview. I like having the ability of pushing frequencies to the radio, but I have to look at the red X. Seems like an easy one, though I don't know. Couldn't we make an Icom radio choice in the setup, instead of SL-30, and not show the red X?
