Can't get serial port adapter to work

HELP!

I'm trying to get my serial port adapter to work on a new laptop (Lenovo W520 running Windows 7 professional. I'm getting the following error message:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

I've removed and reinstalled the driver (Prolific, version 3.4.62.293).

I've updated all the other drivers on this laptop.

Any ideas? I'm stuck! Thanks!

A few questions: What color is your USB-serial cable? Is it one of the ones available from us? Are you using drivers from our website, the included disk, or the ones that Windows finds itself?
