Carb Temperature

Hello, can you help?

Can you use the carb temperature sensors advertised on your site with the 912 Rotax engine.

If so are they easy to install. i guess two would be needed. Would you be able to set an alarm on the 120. Which screen would display the information?

We honestly haven't spent enough time in front of the 912's carbs in-house here to be able to give you a straight answer about fitment of our sensor to that engine. However, the general installation instructions for that sensor can be found in any of the EMS installation manuals available here: http://www.dynonavionics.com/docs/support_documentation.html . Additionally, the folks over at Lockwood Aviation can usually answer just about any question about the 912 and its components.

We will not be able to support two senders however. Only one carb temp sender is allowed per EMS.
