Been flying 4.0 since the week of it's release. Logged several flights with no new issues. Yesterday I got a Yellow Caution Message for the first time. Caution message was for my Pitch servo. Message read "Connection Fault 1/6". Pitch servo is working fine. Flew several altitude changes with altitude bug. Skyview captured all altitude changes correctly & maintained straight and level. Any ideas what the yellow caution means, and why is it showing up now after several successful flights under 4.0?
As we mentioned on another post, we'll be improving the troubleshooting for these messages in future editions of the manuals.
In your case, apparently the SkyView display cannot communicate with your Pitch servo via the primary data wires - Pin 1 (on the SkyView Network 9-pin connector, which is the Green wire) and/or Pin 6 (which is the Blue wire). Good news is that prior to v4.0, your servo would have FAILed for this error (we hadn't implemented the secondary data wires), but apparently when your Pitch Servo primary data wires failed, the SkyView display was able to switch communications with the Pitch servo over to the secondary data wires.
