In the manual sent w/ my D-180, it shows the positive(+) red wires on the top row of the D-sub connector(pins 1-13) but on the revised version now showing the pin/cylinder locations shows the red wires as neg(-) located in the 1-13 positions. Which should I use?

On thermocouples, RED is actually (-). Don't ask us what crazy person came up with that standard.

In any case, Red goes on "top" in the 2-13 positions. Both manuals should show this correctly. It's just the label of (+) and (-) that changed, right?

The most updated manual on the web doesn't even show polarities - it shows the location of the text elements in our schematic program, which look like (+) symbols, but actually aren't.
