CHT, EGT, Oil Temp Readings

The EGT and CHT readings are with in one degree and seem to reflect ambient temp on the cold engine. The oil temp reads about 10-12 degrees cooler than the EGT and CHT and the ambient temps. The engine block is well grounded. Is this unusual?

I can not figure out how to add fuel pressure to the page showing RPM, oil temp, oil pressure, with EGT & CHT bars. There is a blank window with the dial gauges. Can fuel pressure be place there or anything else? I don't need fuel guages.
Thanks
John

The oil temp being off isn't something I'd really expect, and grounding usually makes oil temp read higher, not lower. Two possibilities here are a really resistive connection somewhere between the EMS and the sender or the sender and the engine case, or you have the wrong sensor type selected in the EMS setup.

You cannot show fuel pressure on the 1/3 page EMS. The alarms for low/high pressure are still active though.

Engine cold
CHT  88
CHT  87

Oil Temp
Sensor Type 1:  75
                  2:  76
                  3: 206
                  4:   87
                  5:   87
                  6: 131

I assume the sensor should be set to Type 1, above are the readings from the other Types.
Any thoughts?

The appropriate oil temp sender type for Rotax is 4, which looks like it solves your problem.

Please look through the install guide and make sure you have set the rest of your sensors correctly. Some of them can look Ok on the ground but then be way off in the air if set wrong.

As a specific, the table for the oil temp sensor types is on page 6-9 of the D180 install guide.
