CHT on right side problem

I have installed the DEK 180 and one problem is the display for the right CHT is a high number when first turned on and rolls down to a negative number. The left CHT display shows the approximate ambient temperature when not running and shows a good number when the Rotax 912s is running. Does anyone have an idea as to the problem.

Negative implies that there's no sensor connected. It might just be taking a few seconds average out that pegged out reading. So a disconnected sensor would be one thing to look at here. The other thing you might check is whether the correct GP input is set to CHT R under SETUP>EMS>SENSORS>GP INPUT X
