CHT probes

I am replacing my current EGT/CHT indicator with an EMS D10. The old system used type K thermocouples and wire for both CHT and EGT. Do I have to change the CHT probes and wire or will the Type K system work?

You will need to swap to J type thermocouples and wire for your CHT's, as we don't support K for CHTs. On the plus side it will be more accurate (which is why we use J's in the first place)

Got it. I just got through removing all the old Type K wire and the CHT probes. I'm only going to use the original EGT probes. Thanks.
