I hav a D120 installed with a IO360. My problem is that the cht scale won't do anything. It flashes back and forth with-99 and SPN (maybe SNP).
Every thing else seems to be working just fine.
I can't find any reference to the SPN letters in the manuel.

Thanks in advance

SPN is "SPAN" - it's warning you that your CHT span is greater than the alarm value you programmed in. It's new in the 3.0 software. You may want to turn this alarm off until you get the CHT sorted out.

If the CHT's are all reading -99, that may indicate that they are all wired backwards, or somehow not connected at all. The simplest test is this: with the engine at room temperature, turn on the EMS. Do they read room temp? If not, what do they read?

I just checked the wiring and they are all h ooked up white to white, red to red and yellow to yellow.
The EGT also reads -99 when the engine is off, but does give a reading when it is running.

Any other ideas??

Are any of the GP inputs set to Rotax CHT? If they inadvertently were, you'd see some strange CHT readings. Also, are all of your EGTs and CHTs exhibiting this behavior? If not, which are?

The only GP input that is doing anything is #1 which is OAT.
All EGT & CHT read -99 when turned on.
When eng. is running, EGT has a reading but no bar display. CHT still shows -99.
If i disconnect the sensor input conn. ,cyl # 2 and 4 start counting down to -99. They start out around +300 and go down to -99.
Iff you give me an email address I will send pictures of what the EMS screen looks like. under the above situations.

Thanks

Dan
