On the new version 4.0 software, the floors and ceiling numbers for class B airspace were really hard to make out in flight as the background color was almost the same color as the letters.  Dynonsupport offered some help in the "Skyview 4.0 Now Available!" thread and suggested to download the settings file, modifiy the color2 parameter for class B airspace from 0058D6FF to 1068E6FF and re-upload it to the EFIS.  The below pictures show the before and after screens.  The contrast is much improved and the letters are now more visable.

I haven't really checked this out on mine, not flying yet, but just an observation. Blue is a really crappy color for human visual systems on electronic displays. The problem here seems to be exacerbated by what looks like font shadowing. The slightly brighter colors help, but maybe a different color is called for here (cyan?).

Might be an interesting thing to muck around with some night when I'm tired of fiberglass work :) Thanks for raising the question, and thanks to Dynon for explaining how to modify it!
