clicking noise

I have recently installed D180 In Zenith 601XL and have noticed a clicking noise coming from within. Also the sides of 180 becomes very warm to the touch for a time after power up and would like to know if this is normal?

Yes, both the clicking and the self-heating are normal.

I've heard the clicking noise too. What is it?

It's part of a system inside that does periodic self-calibration.
