clock not syncing to GPS

I have a D100, D120, GNS530. Pin (5001)56 on the garmin 530 is connected to pin 19 on the EMS. The fuel data on the D120 for next waypoint is working and appears accurate. So I think the data is coming from the GPS. The D100 and D120 is connected via DSAB. The clock is not syncing to the GPS. I have removed the yellow "stay alive" wire on both the D100 and D120 per the service bulletin dated 2009. The firmware version i have loaded is 5.3. Thanks for your help!

The Certified units like a 430 or 530 do not output time over serial so we cannot synchronize to them. If you wish to use the 530 to set your time you need an HS34.
