I powered up my newly installed panel today. All elements on the Skyview Network were detected except the Skyview Com radio. Verified power and ground were good. Suggestions?
Thanks!

Is the screen on the COM radio lit up? Is the red light on the back flashing?

I can confirm the screen on the radio is lit up. I will check this evening to see if the red light on the back is flashing.
Thanks for the timely response.

There does not apper to be any red light (flashing or otherwise) on my SV-Com-425. The only blinking light is on the SV-EMS-220.

One other data point: there is constant static which cannot be masked by intercom or radio squelch. I have confirmed ground of radio and intercom units.

Thanks.

If the light is not on or flashing, then it is getting no power from the SkyView network. Do you have a network cable plugged into one of the D9 ports on the back of the control panel (not just the D15)?

You can't adjust squelch until SkyView is talking to it, so it's not that unusual it would be breaking squelch right now. There's no way to adjust the radio squelch from the control panel.

I went back and found a wiring issue exetrnal to the radio. Once that was fixed, the radio was seen by the system and adjustment of the squelch eliminated the static previously encountered.  Thanks for a great product. :)
