I have 2 of the sv-com-c25 radios, the sv-intercom-2s and the sv-d1000t. I tested the radios over the weekend and the volume of both seem really low. The Skyview alerts and intercom volume levels are very loud but both radios are considerably quieter even with their individual volumes maxed out. The reception is fine, I tried ATIS, ground and the tower and I can barely hear them even at 100%.

I tested both the pilot and pass headsets have the same issue on both. Am I missing a gain setting or something?

I'm assuming you have the radios and EFIS all wired discretely to their own inputs, true? If any of the audio outputs were wired to an input in parallel, they could drag audio levels of those paralleled sources down.

When you TX on the radios, what does that audio sound like? Is everything installed in the aircraft, or is it a bench testing setup?
