Does anyone know how compatabe the Dynon Probes are with other equipment such as the "Electronics International" rotary switches that Vans offers for CHT temps?
There's no reason our CHT probes shouldn't work with a switch. Of course, we support 6 CHT's at once, so you'd only need a switch if you are running more than 6 CHT's or twin engines.
Thanks! I'm planning to use the D-180 as my EFIS and EMS but not on the first flight(s). I'm looking for a way to monitor the CHT's and Oil Pressure during that first 40 hours and at the same time control my expenses. My hope was that the Dynon probes would be compatible of transferring the data to the switch (and in-turn, the gage) so I could use the Dynon probes to begin with and not have to replace them when the budget allows me to get the D-180.
