I just sent an email to Foreflight:
I wanted to voice my complaint that it should not be necessary to force Dynon customers to purchase the PRO version simply to connect to upload a flight plan to the Dynon EFIS.
I now have two complaints regarding the pricing of your software.
Complaint 1 is that I do not want to pay for the PRO version, just to have the ability to see the flight plan in a profile view.
Complaint 2 is with this latest attempt to make my yearly subscription cost DOUBLE for a simple added feature.
I would think that you could support your small users, who would commit to yearly subscriptions or multi-year subscriptions, to allow these added features in the Basic package.
I would ask other users of Foreflight and Dynon to do the same. I simply want to upload the flight plan. There is no reason that this should make the yearly cost DOUBLE.
