Hi,

I want to use the automated start and stop of the flight timer and place the transponder in ground mode upon landing with ARNIC 429 INPUT or SERIAL of my GTX328. In the configuration of Garmin GTX 328 there is on channel 1 through 3 the selection EFIS/AD W/ALT : is it possible to use this selection with DYNON EFIS D100 through HS34 ? and what is the configuration of EFIS D100 & HS34 ?

Thanks.

It may or may not work - you'll need to test. It's not clear from the Garmin manuals which labels they're using to determine whether or not you're on the ground and when to start and stop the flight timer. Here are the labels the HS34 outputs though: http://wiki.dynonavionics.com/Generic_ARINC-429_Wiring . You'll need to do some experimenting to see if it works.

Let us know what you find out!

Dear,

I made a test with the commucation ARINC 429 and all information on my D100 translate to GTX 328 (OAT,ALT,SPEED,...) and it's OK. Concerning the start and stop of the ground mode and flight timer, I can't test it now, because I didn't still build totally my aircraft.

Thanks, Eric.
