Hi Dyn. Sup.
I recently returned my EDC-10A for wty. service due to it not being recongnized by the EFIS at power up. The unit was returned promptly but with no explaination about what was done. It turns out the harness I paid Gulf Coast to wire for me was wired incorrectly which is why the EDC-10A could not be recognized by the EFIS. I fixed the wiring problem and now the OAT works perfectly with the two wire OAT probe. However, I need the 3 wire OAT and am about to purchase it but found the bulletin regarding the incorrect reading the OAT may produce under certain circumstances. My S/N is 006661 but if the circuit board was changed out then I may not have the problem. The diode described in the bulletin IS in place on the circuit board I have now. Here are the numbers on the pcb silk screen. I need to know if I should perform the diode removal described in the bulletin.
thx,
Chris Carter
