Hi Mr Dynon

Please could you confirm the wiring connections for me. I am not the most technically gifted person around but from what I understand. The connection to use from the 296 is the DATA OUT 1 (blue wire) mis connected to pin 22 on the Dynon D Sub 25 pin connector. The two systems use a common ground.

This connection will suffice to work the HSI and the auto pilot of connected.

Regards
Shawn

Also using a GPS 296 to feed a D10A. With data output enabled to D10A get attitude and heading errors in flight, or after lots of turns on ground. Disable GPS serial output and problem goes away, just lose wind readout on D10A, as using D10A stand alone, no A/P. 5.1.1 firmware.

Using GPS 296 Com 1 to drive Nav-Aid A/P, works fine, NMEA in/out, 4800.

Using GPS 296 Com 2 to attempt to drive D10A, various protocols either show no comm on GPS 296 menu page, or give stated eroneous display/readings on D10A including erroneous winds, prob due to hdg errors.

Swap Com 1 to the Dynon and then com 2 to the Navaid and that will tell you if its the GPS that is causing the problem. You can also drive both the Navaid and the Dynon D10A from Com 1.
