Connecting Com-425 to PS Engineering 5000EX

Need some help with the connection between SV Com-425 and PS Engineering 5000EX.
Symptoms
Display on SV-Com panel show STUC
Active frequency says 118.500
If I dial in the local ASOS display sometimes shows Airpor ASOS but Active frequency says 118.500 and no ASOS is heard
Dynon frequency displays 118.500
Unable to switch stand by and active frequency

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here ? I've talked with PS Engineering and they say the connections to the intercom are correct.

Stuc usually means the PTT line is grounded or connected to an incorrect position, despite what the pinouts show - it’s easy to mistakenly put a pin where it’s not meant to be - many of us have done that ;)

Finally got this worked out. Seems there were multiple issues.

1. After testing the G430 com, I left the PTT wires temporarily connected to the HOTAS stick. They were connected with knife connectors. These were touching each other, ie. grounding.
2. When stripping the outer sheething from the shielded pair of wires, I bairly nicked the PTT wire 5 going to the intercom. We are talking like 1/128", but that was enough to ground the PTT sometimes. I found this when I put the shell on the dSub. Working one moment, not working the next.

Don at tech support was great in helping me understand the method for finding all of the problems. Now everything is working. 👍
