Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to connect flaps position potentiometer parallel to flap position switch/indicator? The installed flap controller is Flybox EDC-P. So connecting splited signal wire to pin 12 on SV-EMS-221 EMS module and Flybox signal pin and then splited ground to pin 13 on EMS and ground pin on Flybox?

also the same with resistive fuel level indicator. we have installed Siemens VDO analog indicator. can we just parallel connect the signal wire to pin 20 on SV-EMS-221 EMS module and ground to available pin on EMS?

Or is the correct procedure different? without needing any separate sensors.

Hooking up multiple resistive sensors (like fuel level or potentiometers) to multiple instruments isn't an ideal practice. Although you think you're gaining redundancy, in fact, the failure of an instrument can adversely affect the circuit and cause the other remaining instrument to read incorrectly. Our products are generally designed to not affect circuits in this way, but, we can't speak for other products. So we don't recommend it.
